Our patent, trademark and law firm was founded in 1990. It is a leading intellectual property firm serving domestic and international clients in offices in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We process applications for the protection of inventions, utility and industrial designs, trademarks, topographies of semiconductor products, plant varieties and designations of origin of products, as well as patent and trademark searches. Our firm also assists clients in the areas of copyright and competition law.

If a client’s intellectual property rights are infringed, we provide solutions in both private law (such as filing lawsuits and applications for interim measures) and public law (such as cooperation with customs authorities). The firm counts among its clients in the fight against copyright piracy the world’s leading manufacturers of branded goods and maintains contacts with representatives in more than 120 countries.

Members of the firm are authorised to represent not only in proceedings before the Industrial Property Offices, EUIPO, but also before courts in the Czech and Slovak Republics and before the Arbitration Court at the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic.

The firm owns a separate office in Bratislava – Rott & Růžička, Patent, Trademark and Legal Office s.r.o. – established in 1993.
