LEGAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH ADMINISTRATIVE AND JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS

RRG provides legal services in the whole range of intellectual and industrial property rights, including enforcement of these rights, as well as in the fight against product piracy. RRG has been providing these services since its inception, knowing that it is not the acquisition of a trade mark right that is crucial, but rather its maintenance and the use of its subject matter on the market.

In the field of administrative law, it mainly includes services in adversarial proceedings before the Industrial Property Office, in matters of the Consumer Protection Act No. 634/1992 Coll. (governed by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority). This is followed by legal services in review actions against decisions of state administration bodies, including the filing of subsequent cassation complaints and representation before the Supreme Administrative Court. Another area is representation in the registration of medicinal products before the State Institute for Drug Control and in the marketing of food supplements under Act No. 110/1997 Coll., on Foodstuffs.

RRG also offers many years of experience in litigation (court and arbitration proceedings). The cooperating attorneys represent clients before all types and levels of courts. In the field of industrial property rights, in particular before the Municipal Court in Prague, the High Court in Prague and the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. The most frequent actions before the courts are motions for interim injunctions, actions for injunction, removal of the defective condition and for compensation for damages or the release of unjust enrichment. For RRG, litigation is not the goal, but only the last step to resolve legal conflicts. Logically, therefore, services in this area are first concentrated on the preparation of case analyses and opinions, communication with the opposing party, and the preparation and conclusion of coexistence and other agreements in the amicable resolution of legal conflicts.

An integral part of our legal services is the preparation of licensing, sublicensing and other intellectual property agreements or drafts thereof, including agreements with authors of trademarks, advertising products of all kinds.

The RRG also provides any representation in arbitration proceedings. The cooperating attorneys are also members of the permanent Arbitration Court at the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Czech Chamber of Agriculture.
