TRADEMARK MONITORING

In connection with the amendment to Act No. 441/2003 Coll., on trademarks, the Industrial Property Office no longer objects ex officio to identical trademarks for the same goods and services. Therefore, our office offers an efficient trademark monitoring service that detects not only identical trademarks, but also similar trademarks, not only in the register of the Czech Republic, EUIPO and WIPO, but also worldwide. PATENTS

The firm provides comprehensive services covering all clients’ needs relating to inventions, utility models and industrial designs both domestically and globally.

TRADEMARKS

We are able to handle all of our client’s trademark matters both domestically and internationally and have extensive experience in managing large trademark portfolios. We file national and international applications according to the forms provided for in the Madrid Agreement and Protocol, as well as filing Community trade mark applications with OHIM in Alicante (CTM).

RESOURCES

Trademark searches are necessary to minimize potential conflicts in product name selection. We have our own department dedicated to conducting these searches in the Czech and Slovak Republics and we conduct approximately 200 searches per month.

PRODUCT PIRACY

In assisting our clients, we use the means and instruments of European Union law, as well as national criminal, civil, commercial and administrative law. We deal with issues relating to branded clothing, footwear and sporting goods, pharmaceuticals, household appliances and electronics, food and beverages, building materials and home furnishings, chemical and technological components and many other commodities in all areas of commerce, including services.
